Summary:  Emily Middleton (Amy Schumer) reluctantly takes her mother with her on a trip to an exotic land where they are kidnapped and must work together to escape.

The Good:  Amy Schumer (Trainwreck, Inside Amy Schumer) does not disappoint lately.  She and Goldie Hawn(The First Wives Club, The Banger Sisters) are comedy gold in this film.  Their chemistry is so realistic, there were several times where I felt as though Hawn could be my own mother and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought that.  The story itself between Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn regarding their relationship was also very life-like.  I could imagine my mother acting the same way (and doing many of the things) that Hawn's character did.  The supporting characters portrayed by Wanda Sykes and Ike Barinholtz added another level of comedy entertainment that I was definitely not expecting, but I was 100% grateful for it.

The Bad:  My only real issue with Snatched was the blatant predictability at times with respect to a few mini-plots and scenes.  These problems, however, were very, very few and far in between.  They were easy to forget after a while since it did not happen often.  Another topic that was only slightly annoying was the repetitiveness of Schumer's character flaws.  She plays Emily Middleton, a late 20s/early 30s woman who is obsessed with looks and popularity.  I just felt that the film kept showing the same thing over and over when trying to portray her narcissism and selfishness.

The Ugly:  Snatched was very funny overall.  The majority of the film was fresh and witty, rolling from one joke to the next.  It's a movie that I think a lot of people will enjoy and it was a quick hour and half long.

No Zs – A solid, outstanding movie; there wasn’t any snoozing in this movie

Z – Good movie, sometimes the story may be lacking in some area, but it’s still recommended; only fell asleep for a quarter of the movie

ZZ – Average, entertaining at parts, it may be worth seeing, but you will probably want to wait and rent it; fell asleep for half of the film

ZZZ – Very weak where entertainment, plot, realism, development and other vital elements are missing; fell asleep for a third of the movie

ZZZZ – Very poor to the point that you will only recommend for your family and friends “not to see it;” fell asleep right when the movie began and slept through the whole thing.  Well, you will wish you had spent that time sleeping
